We are AUMC Weekday Children's Programs, National Association for Education of Young Children (NAEYC) Preschool Programs. Our full-day program, the Child Development Center, provides a comprehensive early childhood education for children from 3 months to 5 years old. In addition, we offer the part-day Weekday Preschool Program and our Early Learning Program. Our programs are designed to promote the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of young children. We are open year-round and committed to providing high-quality care and education.

Academic Enrichment
​​Mission
Our mission is to foster a love for learning and exploration in young children. We offer a well-rounded academic enrichment program that includes activities to enhance literacy, mathematics, creative writing, and science. Our elementary school programs are designed to provide a strong foundation for future learning, and we incorporate activities such as Readers Theater, Book Club, and Junior Achievement Enrichment to make learning engaging and fun.

THE WEEKDAY PRESCHOOL
FLEXIBLE CARE FOR 3-5 YEAR OLDS
The Weekday Preschool offers flexible school-year classes for potty-trained children 3-4 years old, with options for morning (9-noon), extended day (noon - 2 p.m.), and late day classes (2-5 p.m.). Build your own schedule based on which days and hours you need childcare, or take advantage of the flexibility to schedule short-term care when you need it. This non-profit program, established in 1960, has a primary objective of assisting each child in developing into happy, healthy, self-confident individuals and building a strong foundation for academic education by encouraging self-motivated learning.

THE CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER
WEEKDAY CARE FOR 3 M0-5 YR OLDS
The CDC is a full-day (7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., Monday-Friday), year-round program offering comprehensive, developmentally appropriate activities for children ages 3 months to kindergarten-entrance. Children participate in hands-on learning experiences in areas including art, science, music, and emerging literacy. All lead teachers have a degree or child development associate credential (or equivalent).
